The old purple wrap was peeling after a year. We removed it, fixed the hail damage with PDR and fitted RGBG Purple Satin coloured PPF over the whole body.

Sometimes a new look comes with better protection too.

This Volkswagen Golf 8 had previously been wrapped in purple with a standard wrap, but after about a year the material started to peel and lose its look.

The first step was removing the old film completely and carefully preparing the body. On top of that, the car had been hit by hail, and the roof, bonnet and wheel arches were dented, so we used PDR to bring the panels as close as possible to their original shape without repainting.

Once the preparation was done, we kept the colour direction the owner wanted and chose RGBG Purple Satin coloured PPF, fitted over the whole body.

The result was a complete transformation: a new look, much more even and more premium, plus real protection for the original paint, which was in very good condition.

By moving from a standard wrap to a coloured PPF with an extended warranty, the car gained on looks as well as on durability and long-term protection.
