PPF or ceramic coating? How to choose for your car

One of the most common questions we get is: “Which is better, PPF or ceramic coating?”. Short answer: they protect different things, and the best results come from combining them.

What PPF does

PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a physical, transparent, self-healing layer that takes stone chips, scratches and road debris instead of your paint. It’s impact protection.

What ceramic does

Ceramic coating is a chemical layer (SiO₂) that repels water and dirt, deepens gloss and makes washing easier. It won’t stop a stone, but it keeps the car cleaner and glossier for much longer.

Our take

  • Want maximum protection against impacts → PPF.
  • Want gloss and easy maintenance → ceramic.
  • Want it all → PPF, then ceramic on top: impact protection plus a finish that stays clean.

Bring your car in for an inspection and we’ll tell you exactly what’s worth it for your case.
